The information the police department receives will be used to investigate and verify criminal activity that is taking place.<\/p>\n<p>Please be specific with the information you are reporting. Please include who, what, when, where, why and how the incident(s) are taking place.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALL INFORMATION WILL BE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL AT YOUR REQUEST!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note regarding anonymous complaints:<\/strong><br \/>\nAt ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Police Department, we encourage community members to pass us information they feel is relevant to the safety of the community. This information can be passed on an anonymous basis, if the person volunteering the information desires it to be so. However, if information is passed on an anonymous basis, the information must be corroborated through further investigation before action can be taken.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>State v. Maynard, Supreme Court of Florida No. SC95782 (2001)<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8220;An anonymous informant &#8230; considered unreliable because police usually do not know their basis of knowledge or the truthfulness of their information.
