Civil Service Employment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All classified employees of the University are appointed in accordance with the State Civil Service Regulations. This means they were selected from a list of eligible persons who passed a competitive examination or were selected for a position based upon eligibility as determined by training and experience.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the Department of Civil Service have analyzed each position in detail. The responsibilities and some of the duties connected with it are outlined, and the education and experience required to do the job adequately are defined.
