INTRODUCTION:
The Mr. and Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Finalists will consist of 6 students (3 candidates for Mr. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, 3 candidates for Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½) who serve as role models for the entire university community. Students selected as finalists must exhibit qualities such as leadership, scholarship, good character, a respect for diversity, loyalty to ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, true Colonel Pride and effective communication skills. The two students elected as 2026 Mr. and Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ are expected to be positive representatives of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½.
Selection of Finalists will be based on Academic Performance and Co-Curricular points. The Mr. & Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Selection Committee will select the 3 with the highest overall points for Mr. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and for Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ respectively. Students will vote for their choice during the Spring Election from March 17 to 19, 2026.Ìý The results will be announced at Crawfish Day on April 16, 2026.

Who is eligible for Mr. and Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Honor?
- JUNIORS or SENIORS carrying a minimum of 9 hours, having earned 75 or more semester hours by the end of the previous Fall semester & must have 3.25 overall GPA.
- GRADUATE STUDENTS carrying a minimum of 6 hours with a 3.5 overall GPA for undergraduate and graduate semesters combined.
- Students in good standing with the university and not on disciplinary or academic probation.

Who may nominate a student for Mr. and Ms. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½?
Students can be nominated by active Student Organizations, Greek Chapters or other groups, by another currently enrolled student or may self-nominate.
