Bio:

Dr. Celebi was born and raised in Turkey. He is a military veteran. He served as an officer in Turkish Armed Forces for 14 years. He came to United States in 2013 to pursue a PhD. After
receiving his Ph.D. in Sociology from University of North Texas at Denton, Texas, he joined the Sociology Department at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ in August of 2019. His primary research
interests are integration and transition of people with disabilities and mental health issues and veterans into social/civilian life, medical sociology, military sociology, quantitative research methods and statistics, and big data engineering. He has published research on health/medical sociology. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves playing and watching tennis and soccer.
