ÌýFall 2026 Available Scholarships
Applications should be submitted no later than the close of business July 20, 2026,Ìýor the deadline date noted in the scholarship description. ÌýStudents who have received other scholarships/awards, have extra-curricular involvement, or are members of campus or community organizations may submit or upload a copy of their student activities resume.
LAUREN LAPEYROUSE GUIDRY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP [1 @ $750]:Ìý The Thibodaux Service League will award a scholarship to a full-time student at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ majoring in Education. The recipient must be at least a sophomore, involved in Greek Life, and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The scholarship of $1,500 ($750 per semester) will be awarded for two consecutive semesters to a student who demonstrates financial need. To maintain the scholarship for the second semester, the student must be enrolled full-time and must maintain their minimum 3.0 GPA. The applicant must supply a resume or letter explaining their passion for education.Ìý DEADLINE TO APPLY– June 1, 2026.Ìý Email brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu for an application or pick one up at the Scholarships Office.
THIBODAUX VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIP [2 students]:Ìý The applicant must be an active member in good standing of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department or a dependent child of a member meeting the same criteria.Ìý The applicant must be of good moral character.Ìý The committee will take into consideration the quality of and length of service to the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Department of the applicant or parent.Ìý If the applicant is a first-time freshman, he or she must have graduated from high school with at least a 3.0 GPA.Ìý In case of extreme financial need, the committee may waive down to a 2.5 grade point average.Ìý The applicant must be enrolled as a fulltime student at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and maintain fulltime status.Ìý The applicant must maintain an overall grade point average of at least 3.0.Ìý The financial need of the applicant will be considered.Ìý The scholarship will be applied to the remaining balance of tuition and fees after TOPS, institutional aid, and private scholarships are applied.Ìý Those with no remaining eligibility may be awarded a set dollar amount to be determined at the time of awarding.Ìý Applications are available in the Scholarship Office or by emailing brandy.stpierre@nicholls.edu
