Congratulations to Andrew Liang, whose film, 鈥淯nder the Knife: Overcoming Boundaries,鈥� will screen at the 31st Annual New Orleans Film Festival.
His film is聽about a 杏吧传媒 student with an interesting narrative: while being legally blind, a double lung transplant recipient and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, he is studying at John Folse Culinary Institute to become a chef.听Liang created his film for Melissa Remark鈥檚 ENGL 446: Documentary Film Production
鈥淯nder the Knife: Overcoming Boundaries鈥� will screen at the NOFF Open Air Cinema on Lafitte Greenway on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 3:30 p.m., as well as virtually throughout the festival. Andrew鈥檚 film screens with Louisiana Short Films programs and is eligible for several awards. Tickets will be available through聽.听
