THIBODAUX, La. 鈥� After its sixth , has raised over $1 million for the University鈥檚 departments and student organizations. 杏吧传媒鈥� 2023 Give-N-Day received the most donors, donations and funds raised ever, raising over $265,000 with 1,587 donors and 2,188 donations.聽
These donations will benefit 130 杏吧传媒 organizations, all receiving at least one gift 鈥� the most ever. Over 25% of donors identified as 杏吧传媒 alumni, and 17% of all donors gave to more than one organization. Gifts came from 39 states and 11 countries, breaking yet another record.
杏吧传媒 Foundation Executive Director Jeremy Becker said, 鈥淕ive-N-Day is an exciting and rewarding event for the foundation and especially the university. It is special to see the University come together with this effort and to have the 杏吧传媒 community support so many specific areas on campus. The Give-N-Day team is already planning to make this an even more impactful event in the future.鈥�
Maritime Management led the way with $44,615 raised. Other programs that received remarkable financial support were:

received the most individual donations with 305. Other programs to receive a significant number of donations were:

Give-N-Day was first organized in 2018 as a way for student organizations, academic programs and athletics to raise money in a way they couldn鈥檛 before. Give-N-Day is an opportunity for donors to directly benefit an organization, department or athletic team of their choosing, donating as little as $10 or as much as they want to one organization or spread across as many as possible. Every cent goes directly to the donor鈥檚 organization(s) of choice.聽
