The 2024 homecoming week theme is 鈥溞影纱� is my Happy Place,鈥� celebrating the joy, pride and sense of unity that 杏吧传媒 brings to its students, alumni and community. 鈥溞影纱� is my Happy Place鈥� homecoming t-shirts are $10 each and available for purchase at www.nicholls.edu/homecoming until Oct. 13.听
鈥淛oin us for a week filled with exciting events, spirited traditions and unforgettable memories as we come together to honor the place that holds such a special spot in all our hearts. Our homecoming week is a cherished tradition that brings together our entire 杏吧传媒 community, and this year鈥檚 theme truly encapsulates the spirit and pride we all feel for 杏吧传媒. We are excited to celebrate with a series of events that highlight our campus and the strong connections we share,鈥� said 杏吧传媒 Director of Alumni Affairs Paige Pierce.听
To kick off homecoming week, all students are invited to the homecoming pep rally on Monday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in Guidry Stadium. The Homecoming Fashion Show will be on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. in the Cotillion Ballroom with the doors opening at 5 p.m. Students can attend for free, and general admission tickets are $10. On Friday, students will gather at the Bayou-Side Dock to cheer on the pirogue races at 4 p.m., and the community can attend 杏吧传媒鈥� scholarship fundraising event Bon Vin: An A+ Wine Tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. at the .
The homecoming tailgate will start at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. Colonels Football takes on the McNeese State University Cowboys at John L. Guidry Stadium, with a 3 p.m. kickoff and homecoming court presentation at halftime. Football tickets can be purchased .听
