General Information

Students in 7th through 12th grades, from both public and private institutions, are eligible to compete in one of nine District Rallies.

Each District Rally offersÌýÌýand a varying amount of open events.

Only students who are certified by District Rally Directors as Bona Fide Qualifiers are eligible to compete in any of the events at State Rally where qualification is required.

Schools Attending District Rally

Schools participating in District Rally must select one location for literary events. Schools participating in open events at District Rally may select multiple locations for open events, provided the school does not participate in the same event at more than one district location.

ENTRY FEE: $25 per school

GENERAL INFORMATION & GUIDE LINES:

  1. Due to the nature of the Art Rally, all schools will be considered as being in one division only.
  2. Each school will be limited to five entries. Work must have been completed in the past year.
  3. All media of two and three dimensions is acceptable.
  4. The artwork must be labeled with the student’s name, grade, school, media and title. Please duplicate the art rally entry tags and attach to back of each entry.
  5. Paintings may be framed, wood stripped or have painted finished edges. All two-dimensional work, except paintings, should be matted and covered with acetate.Ìý If work is framed, it should be covered with glass or plexiglass. ÌýAll framed work will need a wire, loop, or tab on the back so it can be hung.
  6. ARTWORK THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW GUIDE LINES 4 & 5 WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
  7. Students participating in the Art Rally may also take part in one of the other Rallies.
  8. Judges will be selected by the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Department of Art.
  9. Awards will be given for First, Second, Third Place Overall Winners, and up to ten (10) Honorable Mentions regardless of media.
  10. Pictures of Art Rally entries may appear on the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ website.
  11. Art Rally is an event at the district level; there is no Art Rally at the state level.
