Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration: Work with a talented team to produce engaging content for our one-hour Friday Night Football franchise, Friday Night Sports show, weekly Sportszone show, and daily sportscasts.
- Coverage: Dive into the world of Saints, Pelicans, Zurich Classic, Tulane Green Wave, LSU Tigers, and the SEC!
- Content Creation: Research, write, shoot, and edit stories for multiple platforms in a clear, engaging, and meaningful manner for sports enthusiasts.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all sports content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.
- Responds to breaking sports events and other urgent newsroom situations as required.
- Works closely with the sports team to develop and produce comprehensive sports coverage and special sports programming.
- Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Writes stories for the website and other digital platforms.
- Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of sports and sports related activities
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Flexibility to work any shift.
