Responsibility / Duty
  • Work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer for Advancement to define and prioritize the needs of the alumni and university
  • Serve as the liaison between the university and the Alumni Federation
  • Represent the Alumni Federations at university functions and all functions as designated by the CIO for Advancement
  • Represent ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ at various on-campus and off-campus functions
  • Advocates for the University in the public domain
  • Serve on various committees as requested by the CIO for Advancement
  • Identify prominent and successful alumni and facilitate relationships between them and the university
  • Design and execute friend-raising and fundraising plans that would increase
  • attendance at alumni and university events
  • Work with the Alumni Board of Directors in all areas about operations of the Alumni Federation
  • Develops and oversees the implementation of the strategic alumni plan
  • Using its alumni network, works closely with Career Services to promote employment opportunities for students, helping alumni meet employment needs
  • Employs effective communication initiatives with alumni.

Responsibility / Duty
  • Coordinates and attends all bi-monthly quarterly Alumni Federation Board meetings, the annual meeting, and committee meetings held throughout the year
  • Travel in support of ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Alumni and the university as needed and requested
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all alumni records kept in Blackbaud’s Raisers Edge (RE) database
  • Stay abreast and knowledgeable about queries and updates with RE
  • Maintain the day-to-day operation of the Alumni House on campus
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and execute the Alumni Federation yearly elections
  • Work closely with the Alumni Engagement Coordinator to maintain Alumni Chapters and help create new chapters
  • Understand and articulate the contributions of the university to education, service
  • and economic impact on a local, state, and federal level
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the CIO for Advancement

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 to 10 years with progressive levels of responsibility
