CROSS ENROLLMENT
CROSS ENROLLMENT WITH FLETCHER TECHNICAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE
A student will be eligible to take one credit hour at theÌýhostÌýinstitution for each credit hour taken at theÌýhomeÌýinstitution, with a maximum of six credit hours taken at theÌýhostÌýinstitution per semester/session. Exceptions will be considered individually and must be approved by both institutions. The student’s home school is the school at which the student enrolls in the majority of his/her credit hours.
ÌýFor example:ÌýFor a student enrolled in 9 credit hours at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ and 3 credit hours at Fletcher, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ is the home school and Fletcher is the host school.
Other details to keep in mind:
- Tuition and fees are paid at the home school.
- Applicable fees, such as registration fees, lab fees, etc., are paid by the student to the host school. Financial aid such as a Pell grant, a TOPS scholarship, or a loan can only be applied to the tuition and fees at the home school.
- Fees charged to the student by the host school are not covered by financial aid.
- Cross enrollment does not carry over from semester to semester. A new cross enrollment application must be submitted for each semester the student wishes to be cross enrolled.

- College Procedures and
- Student Code of Conduct of the Host Institution in all matters related to enrollment at the host institution.
It is the Student’s Responsibility to become familiar with the:

The Parking Decal of the Home School will be honored by the Host School; however, it is the student’s responsibility to become familiar with the parking procedures and guidelines of the Host Institution.
Cross enrollment applications must be submitted by the specified deadline as indicated in the College’s academic calendar.
NICHOLLS AS HOME INSTITUTION
Process for ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Students enrolling in courses at Fletcher:
Determine what courses you want to take at the host school (Fletcher) and submit an application
- View Fletcher’s class offerings by clicking the following link:.
- Select the term for which you are applying to cross enroll then clickÌýsubmit.
- Search for the course you are interested in and make note of the course subject, number, section, and five-digit course reference number (CRN) associated with the section. You will need this information for your application. For example: For English Composition I, you will need to know ENGL 1010, A, 10005.
Complete a cross-enrollment application by clicking the following link:Ìý
Once your cross-enrollment application is received, reviewed, approved, and processed by Fletcher, you will be contacted by Fletcher via the email address that you submitted on the application. Fletcher will then notify ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ of your cross enrollment. After receiving this notification, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will review, approve, and process your cross enrollment with Fletcher. A course (XEFL) will be added to your ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ registration for the purpose of charging you tuition for the cross-enrolled course(s).
Your cross enrollment request is not complete until you receive email notification from Fletcher and the course code (XEFL) has been added to your ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ schedule. You must be registered in classes at your home school before the cross enrollment can be fully processed. If at any point you wish to change your requested courses, please do so via an email to registrar@fletcher.edu. (Please do not resubmit the application.) If at any point you wish to CANCEL your cross enrollment, please do so via an email to your home school at crossenrollment@nicholls.edu.
FLETCHER AS HOME INSTITUTION
Process for Fletcher students enrolling in courses at ÐÓ°É´«Ã½:
To Cross Enroll with Fletcher as Home and ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ as Host: Determine what courses you want to take at the host school (ÐÓ°É´«Ã½) and submit an application by completing the following steps:
- Go toÌý.
- Select Course Schedule via Banner Self-Service.
- Select Class Schedule from the list that appears.
- Select the term for which you are wishing to cross enroll.
- Search for the course you are interested in and make a note of the course subject, number, section, and five-digit course number (CRN) associated with the section. You will need this information for your application.
- For example: For Intro to Financial Accounting, you will need to know ACCT 205, 1M, 80005.
- Go toÌý.
- Scroll until you see the Cross Enrollment section and click Apply for the semester you wish to cross enroll
- Click First Time User Account Creation (even if you have already participated in cross enrollment).
- Create your Login IN and PIN.
- Click Login.
- On the application type menu, select Cross Enroll from Fletcher.
- Click Continue.
- Proceed to Complete the Application.
- Once you have completed all parts of the application, click Application is Complete.
Once your cross-enrollment application is received, reviewed, approved, and processed by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½, you will be contacted by ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ via the email address that you submitted on the application. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will then notify Fletcher of your cross enrollment. After receiving this notification, Fletcher will review, approve, and process your cross enrollment with ÐÓ°É´«Ã½. A course (XNSU) will be added to your Fletcher registration for the purpose of charging you tuition for the cross-enrolled course(s).
Your cross enrollment request is not complete until you receive email verification from BOTH schools. You must be registered in classes at your home school before the cross enrollment can be fully processed. If at any point you wish to change your requested courses, please do so via an email to crossenrollment@nicholls.edu. If at any point you wish to CANCEL your cross enrollment, please do so via an email to your home school atÌýregistrar@fletcher.edu.
